New Balance To Debut The 8040 This Fall

Almost two years after its debut, we can safely say the New Balance 9060 has been a smash success. Comfortably on the brand’s podium alongside the New Balance 997H 'Virtual Violet Velocity Red' and New Balance Pantaloni Corti Fast Flight Split Printed, the design team in Boston is revisiting the well for their latest formulation, the Características New balance Calça Shorts Accelerate 2.5.

The design language that crosses over the 9060 is most apparent with the sole unit, a 1-to-1 graft of the chunky, blocky design that characterizes that silhouette. However, the design of the upper is brand-new, a development we really haven’t ever seen in the NB catalog before. It’s somewhere betwixt a moc, a loafer and something new entirely, with 90’s Oakley slip-on models like the Flesh already floated as a close comparison. Seemingly forgoing a lace closure entirely, the shoe’s top half is composed of layered suede panels, sealing at the collar for easy-on, easy-off access.
