Virgil Abloh left premium a plethora of Nike shoe designs before his untimely passing in November of 2021, promising his flyknit following plenty of product for years to come. It boasts a glossy piano black patent leather upper with the track-and-field inspired spiky rubber outsoles, Rasheed Wallace’s silhouette logo embroidered on the heel, and “RASHEED” typed out in Helvetica on the medial sides. As another layer of homage to the Air Force 1 “Sheed” PE is the jersey number of 30 on the ankle strap.
It seems likely that a retail release is coming soon, although no official dates have been shared. The “Spoil Green” colorway of the Off-White Air Force 1 Mid is, however, scheduled to drop in late April. It also appears that the aforementioned Air Force 1 High “Sheed” PE will release at retail.
