Last week, we brought you a first look at a red and blue Air Force 1 656 that’s upper came fully adorned in satin, evoking a luxuriously retro aesthetic that serves as a nod to the brand’s past. Nike has plans to continue the retro theme with a three-piece Air Max 1 collection that utilizes that same satin material throughout their uppers as well. Much like the aforementioned Air Force 1 656, retro branding comes into play here on both the tongue and heel, as the former boasts an old-school Nike Sportswear tag equipped with an orange Swoosh while the latter calls upon the brand’s “Pinwheel” logo from the 1970’s. Fans of this nostalgic Air Max 1 collection will have their choice between three color schemes – Red and Blue, Blue and Mint, and Triple Black. At the moment, no release information is being reported, but keep it locked for pricing information and a date as they become available.
