It’s been ten years, but it’s still the most infamous sneaker release ever. We’re talking, of course, about the hectic lows for the nike dunk blue avengers costume sale clearance “Pigeon” by Staple Design. On March 22, 2005, the sneaker world was forever changed when the highly limited sneaker nearly caused a riot—or at camps a few muggings—and seemingly changed the hype factor and resale rates of sneakers from that day on.
