CP3 Air Jordan V | Jordan x Paris Saint-Germain 521

Jordan x Paris Saint-Germain 521

One of the more attention-grabbing Air Jordan silhouettes, the Jordan x Paris Saint-Germain 521 design is based on the classic tuxedo dress shoe. Designed by Tinker Hatfield while hoping MJ would return to the NBA, the shoe is composed of ballistic nylon jack along the top half, with shiny patent leather sitting below. We’ve also seen low-top versions release that do away with the patent leather look. While patent leather has a formal look, it also served a true purpose. The material was more lightweight than traditional leather, and tended not to stretch as much, which would help Michael’s feet stay within the bounds of the footbed while committing hard cuts or slashes.
