Healthy Huntsville  is a partnership between the City of Huntsville and local businesses and organizations geared to making Huntsville a healthier city. It’s estimated that nearly a third of adults in Madison County are obese, and Huntsville Mayor Tommy Battle hopes the Healthy Huntsville initiative can change that statistic.

The initiative will raise awareness on the impact of obesity and type 2 diabetes while educating the public on the science of health, promote fitness and nutrition and providing practical tips for healthy lifestyle changes.
