The Nike Lunar Roam first made their debut in 2008, a showcase of the Lunarlon foam underfoot technology that marked concurrent releases like the Hyperdunk and Lunaracer. With later hardware improvements sidelining the silhouette, the Lunar Roam made their reintroduction at the tail end of 2023.
