Nike KD 17 Producer Pack
The Nike KD 17 “Producer Pack” is an upcoming set of releases hemp around some of Durant’s favorite producers. As one of the longest standing Nike athletes, he’s already spawned some truly iconic series across his well-established catalog. Amid a field of fan favorite themes like the “Aunt Pearl,” a recent addition to the canon burst in with the Nike KD 15 “Producer Pack.” Durant’s well-documented love for hip-hop manifested in three editions of his signature shoe, dedicated to those whose mastery comes behind the boards. Cardo, Bo1da and 9th Wonder landed in the spotlight for that inaugural edition, uniting the architects for hits from the likes of De La Soul, Kendrick Lamar and Drake.
The KD 17 “Producer Pack” is similarly wide-ranging, dedicated to Metro Boomin, The Alchemist and Bink!, those three artists’ collective discography spanning some of the most iconic releases from early 90s hip-hop to the modern day. Each shoe in the collection boldly features artist-specific imagery that alludes to their individual catalogs. Most notably, Metro’s edition mirrors the album cover of his “Heroes and Villains” album on the shoe’s tongue.
The release of the KD 15 counterpart is likely informative for the “Producer Pack.” That shoe first debuted in April, with the three special edition shoes dropping a few months later in September in August. With May bringing the debut of the Nike KD 17, “Producer Pack” editions are likely to arrive in the Summer/Fall. As always, we’ll keep you informed with current details as they emerge.
