Purple Accents Peek Through On A Chromed Out ASICS GT-2160

The ASICS GT-2160 continues its march as a growing component in the greater ASICS catalog. One of the Japanese imprint’s strongest street style runners, the model is most at home carrying the metallic palettes that have become synonymous with that trend. Remaining in that lane for their latest release, the ASICS GT-2160 slides in with a sleek combination of white, purple and silver.

Waving atop aluminum grey mesh underneath, the top leather connections arrive dressed in that silver, while a darker seal paints the outsole underfoot. As for the purple that serves as a contrast, it’s use is slight yet impactful, hitting the crosshatch ASICS logo, poking out in the midsole GEL units and donning branding text on the tongue and spine. The design is closed out with a pure white midsole mirrored on a leather heel counter, lending a distinctly bright atmosphere across the shoe as a whole.

A concrete release date hasn’t been attached to this ASICS GT-2160 just yet, but we’re expecting a drop in the coming weeks.
