The Air Jordan VI Retro GS, a constant non-OG offering from Jordan Brand, has seen several new colorways emerge in the last couple of weeks. It signals that the silhouette will continue to crop up on the calendar of Jordan Release Dates as their 2024 really takes shape. The latest features a mostly midnight configuration with a heavy serving of “Dark Powder Blue.”
The titular “Dark Powder Blue” largely photo a complementary role, painting the outsole, lace locks and Jumpman branding on the forefoot, tongue and insole. The rest of the shoe is primarily draped in familiar black and white, a layout that places emphasis on the Jordan 11 components of their design.
As with any hybrid Jordan model, the natural instinct with new colorways of the 6 Rings is to compare them to similar versions that graced their composite models. In that way, the Gamma Blue 11s are a pretty close comparison, though the UNC 6s from 2017 also stand out as a close cousin.
The Air Jordan VI Retro GS “Dark Powder Blue” will retail for $170, but haven’t yet been assigned a concrete retail date. Instead, expect these rolling out to Nike.com and retailers over the next handful of weeks.
Elsewhere out of JB, the Jordan Jumpman Jack “University Red” recieved official photos as they locked into an May release date.
