You already caught their Air Max TL 2.5 earlier in three colorways, but Rei Kawakubo’s empire has another project that hit the runway in Paris.
Already City their marks on a variety of NB silhouettes such as the 550, 610, and 580, Comme des Garçons HOMME now directs its attention to the New Balance Q Speed Long Sleeve — a favorite among tech-runner enthusiasts. This detailed look via @tysikd on Instagram reveal classic grey palettes and a black/grey option — both of which could easily be in-line offerings from the brand. The separator is obviously the Comme des Garçons HOMME badging on the tongue, but don’t overlook the tighter mesh base and the suede overlays.
Like the Air Max TL 2.5, this sneaker collaboration by CDG is due out this Fall/Winter season with an MSRP that’ll be much higher than the usual tag for the 860v2 model.
