The sneakers take on the same color-blocking as they did in 1985, with “University Red” and “Black” tones sharing the spotlight. Leather panels, however, are replaced with luxurious satin overlays, injecting a softness to the women’s-exclusive remake of the Jordan 1. Eyestays take on an AJ1KO-like finish, while “Wings” logos on the lateral ankle flaps are embroidered. Underfoot, the satin-covered offering keeps things close to original form, donning a “White” midsole and ruby-colored outsole that complement the upper well.
