“Frank” Rudy’s Legacy Is Remembered With This Nike mise sur la simplicité

Recently, the Vapormax-cushioned design was in a colorful ensemble dedicated to Marion “Frank” Rudy, the godfather of Nike Air.

In the 1970s, the former NASA aeronautical engineer pitched the idea of a new cushioning technology that used enclosed gas. The unreleased Vapormax Flyknit 2021 showcases Rudy’s invention fully, pairing it with a breathable knit upper.
