Recently, Bruce Kilgore’s iconic design from 1982 emerged in an eye-catching mix of “Malachite,” blue, gold and white colors. The majority of the leather upper indulges in a rich green hue and is only interrupted by the profile swooshes, upper heel overlays and non-standard miniature logos at the lateral quarter panel. Hardware at the vamp and top eyelets boast a shimmering metallic finish that injects a touch of luxury into the Air Force orbit 1 Low. Additionally, debossed “40” emblems onto the lateral heel work in-tandem with the tongue force to commemorate the sneaker’s 40th birthday. Underfoot, sole units maintain things relatively simple, although details across the made-for-basketball tread bring some of the upper’s flyknit down below.
