Under the guidance of Hatfield, Brock-Jones and Bagby were tasked with creating a shoe that represents three key pillars: the University of Oregon, women’s athletics, and Title IX. Using the Air Jordan 1 Mid as their vehicle, the trio pay homage to the Ducks by mirroring the team’s signature colors. Pops of bright yellow mark the lining, Swoosh, and tread, while shades of green wash over the rest of the upper. And at the peak of the tongue, just over top the rounded, recycled laces, the Title IX logo designed by Hatfield himself helms the design, matching the insignia engraved into the wooden packaging next to the “Go Do Anything” mantra. What’s more, the pair itself comes wrapped in a special french, which features the legislation in full.
