The aforementioned sidewall logos boast a “wear away” finish that CP303 for unique textures to FlyteFoam as the shoes are worn (a stitched-on version still exists on the medial side). A callback to Wabi-Sabi appears between both shoes’ spines, as well as on the cork insoles. Akin to their previous joint-efforts, AFEW and ASICS’ commitment to quality extends onto the leather heel mold, a first for the split-tongued silhouette.
