The exaggerated side Swooshes and overlays have been seen on both a bold, monochromatic “Cosmic Fuschia” offering and a rather simple black-and-white approach. An upcoming “Deep Royal Blue” amp sits somewhere in between and is finally releasing tomorrow.
The near two-toned style begins with a white smooth leather base. Overlays in a “Deep Royal Blue” shade populate the design and exhibit unfamiliar, almost oversized shapes near the ankle and heel. Unfamiliarity is also demonstrated by the AMBUSH-branded rubber overlays above the midsole and the profile Swooshes. The black checkmarks adorning the sides opt for a rubber build and extend beyond the sides for added dimension. Instead of a white midsole to match the body, the amp sees a “Sail” midsole to deliver an aged look. The aforementioned blue tone returns to color the outsole and completes yet another thoughtful design by AMBUSH and Nike.
