Akin to its decades-old predecessor, the forthcoming model indulges in a suede and nylon build, the former material adding durability along the forefoot, tongue and heel. Profile swooshes and upper panels on the rear partake in the same design that’s appeared on runners like the Challenger, which has enjoyed a retro run over the last year. Exposed foam tongues also harken back to the Swoosh’s earliest performance-running breakthroughs, but they’re overshadowed by the waffle-patterned tread sneakerbootfoot.
