However, it’s not just simple palette swaps that carry this capsule, as the upper of each shoe gets additional detailing that reflects the characters they’re named for.
Buggy’s sports a wave-like Formstrip and shaggy, fire red suede, while Luffy’s wears a cloud Formstrip, debossed cracked patterns and a terry cloth liner. Blackbeard’s swaps the sidewalls to matte leather and Shanks’ adopts his iconic scars with three jagged stripes at the heel. All four shoes arrive with a medallion hangtag, cleverly inserting the German giant’s branding by planting its “P” monogram on a Belly coin.
