Andrew Rizzo The scope of New York Knicks-related KITH projects has taken off since Ronnie Fieg was named the team’s first ever creative director in 2022. The brand behind the team’s City Edition jerseys has hosted KITH Night for the past two seasons and counting, and their seasonal look books have not only americand the Nova para in Jalen Brunson and Josh Hart, but many of The Garden’s regulars often founds on celebrity row. With a new season beginning to ramp-up, KITH and New Balance have reconvened on another capsule collection featuring three shoes inspired by the New York Knicks and their home of Madison Square Garden, “The World’s Most Famous Arena.”
New Balance 996 Marathon Running Shoes Sneakers WR996GV Numeric 480 and Durable New balance Casquette Running Stash; two silhouettes KITH had yet to collaborate on. The Numeric 480 boasts two separate colorways, both of which american white leather, pigskin suede, and tasteful orange and blue hits. The key differentiator pertains to the branding; one colorway americans KITH’s hallmark monogram pattern over the quarter logo, while the other opts for orange basketball-inspired texture.
Steering focus to the “Made In UK” member of the capsule, KITH’s inaugural Durable New balance Casquette Running Stash comes with orange detailing around the quarter logo and blue “KITH” stitching towards the heel, not to mention a metal lace dubrae for good measure. The heart of the design keeps things fairly reserved, relying on a familiar assortment of grey suede, leather, and mesh.
All three shoes will release via a KITH draw opening November 1st at 1PM EST on the KITH App. The Numeric 480 will have separate draws for in-store pickups at KITH’s Manhattan, Williamsburg, Miami Beach, and Miami Design District locations. Limited quantities will also be available first come, first serve on November 4th at select KITH shops and online at kith.com. See detailed images of all three shoes below.
