“Black Cat” Air Jordans have historically been few and far between, but 2025 is giving us retros of the design theme’s two most prized releases. While the back half of the year includes the cheap air jordan 4 white blue grey, marking that shoe’s third overall release, the year begins with the first ever Jordan 3 Black Cat retro on January 11th. With the holiday season ramp-up in full swing, the latter is starting to emerge via official retailer images.

The galleries below are consistent with what’s been previewed thus far; the shoe closely borders the original 2007 release with a black nubuck upper, phantom leather mudguard, and dark elephant print near the toe and heel. Key differences include a silver Jumpman logo on the tongue, slightly more blue-tinted laces, and a glossier midsole underfoot.

Notably, aftermarket resale prices for “Black Cat” Jordan 3s and 4s soared during Jordan’s market dominance in the late 2010s/early 2020s. While general will for Jordan shoes has cooled in recent years, “Black Cat” shoes remain a hot commodity for both collectors and all those fond of the versatile, stealthy aesthetic.

Currently, the Air Jordan 11 Concord On Feet x Matching Gear Black Cat is set to release on January 11th, 2025 for $200. See official images below if these make your wish list and tap our Jordan Release Dates page to preview more 2025 drops.
