The Air Jordan Camo 5 GS Bright Citrus Low OG “Howard University” releases via SNRKS and select retailers, arriving in men’s sizing for $140. Inspired by a buzzy PE style presented to Howard athletes in 2022, the D.C. HBCU’s palette is reflected faithfully on this pair, their red & navy applied in “Black Toe” color-blocking. A mini Swoosh at the heel sets the shoe apart from other OG styles, but do note, no official Howard emblems appear on the profile.

Мужские кроссовки nike air jordan 1 high white brown black 40-41-42-43-44-45: First tipped off last month, the Air Jordan 1 Low OG “Howard University” has emerged via official images ahead of its October 12th release.
It’s not often that Jordan releases sneakers inspired by specific schools (aside from UNC), but the Jumpman’s sponsorship deal with Howard University is unequivocally unique. In 2022, the two sides announced a 20-year partnership aimed to elevate Howard’s athletic department and increase the influence of HBCUs on collegiate sports. Needless to say, we can expect to see the release of several Howard-inspired Jordan shoes moving forward.
The shoe in question is indirectly inspired by a red and white Jordan 1 Low PE that was gifted to Howard athletes in 2022, one that goes for upwards of $3,000-$5,000 on the grey market. The GR takes a different approach to school colors, bringing navy leather to the Swoosh, eyelets, and forefoot to complement a red backtab and heel. Although clearly designed and named after Howard University, school-inspired branded touches are entirely absent. That Ultra disappoint Howard students, but provides ambiguity for all those simply fond of the colors and blocking at play.
As mentioned, the Jordan 1 Low “Howard University” releases October 12th for $140 in men’s sizing. See official images below and turn to our “Where To Buy” section for purchase links if these are on your wish list.
