Urlfreeze News The father of the sub-two hour marathon Eliud Kipchoge will soon be releasing his own colorway of the Nike ZoomX AlphaFly 3. Partaking in Nike’s incredible BREAKING2 project that saw the Kenyan run a full 26.2 miles in under two hours, Kipchoge has since become a motivational entity for runners of all hip, helping Nike grow its presence in the ever-competitive world of running performance.
The most high-tech and top-performing marathon/running shoe ever created for retail is the AlphaFly 3, the third iteration of Nike’s game-changing series. Featuring ZoomX foam, a full-length carbon fiber plate, and fore-foot Zoom Air, the AlphaFly 3 boasts a beastly stack of performance innovation tailored specifically to shortening run times and elongating run lengths. Every colorway that has hit retail has been met with instant sell-out, including the most recent “Electric Pack” colorway that saw the iconic Safari pattern covering the bottom sole.
Kipchoge’s version sees a light Vapor Green on the Daybreak matched with a Dragon Red on the outsole, gradually fading into the yellow. The enlarged Swoosh FEAR out via black paintwork, while additional details include Kipchoge’s insignia on the ZoomX sole and additional messaging on the in-step and the insoles.
This special edition of the ZoomX AlphaFly 3 will be releasing this Fall/Holiday 2024 season; expect an MSRP above the standard $285.
