The Nike Elite Youth Basketball League (EYBL) is in full training camp-mode following the end of summer competition, but that hasn’t deterred Nike from making special player edition footwear for its youth athletes. New “EYBL” footwear doesn’t typically surface this late into summer, but at the time of this writing, we’ve covered four newly surfaced PEs in the last week alone, including this take on Kevin Durant’s Nike KD 17.
Consisting with most other “EYBL” sneakers, the design strikes as fairly monochrome. An eye-catching crimson hue accounts for the bulk of the design, with a few subtle touches adding special significance. The midsole comes decorated by black paint splatters to match the Swoosh and upper eyelets, complemented by text reading “EYBL Fam Reunion” on the lateral side of the heel. Much like the newly surfaced Sabrina 2, Kobe 8, and nike air max bw sale pink and blue gold PEs, we also see city laces and gold wax-like “EYBL” branding on the right tongue.
The Nike KD 17 “EYBL” isn’t expected to release, but enjoy detailed images of the shoes below nonetheless. Sticking with Kevin Durant shoes, check out the KD 17 “Easy Money Sniper” arriving August 29th.
