One of the cruelties of being a stateside sneakerheads is missing out on atmos’ collaborative work. They churn out new offerings with ASICS, New Balance, and most frequently, adidas on what feels like a weekly basis, the end products of those relationships is only so frustrating for US consumers because it’s so successful. Another step in that direction on tap with the adidas Samba “Tuxedo,” which Hirofumi Kojima took to Instagram to share.
Patent reflectives are a dominant choice on the shoe, essentially gracing the full exterior from heel to toe. Chrome/silver accents are pinned up top, with the underlays handled by pure jet black, a classy touch that undoubtedly inspired the “Tuxedo” moniker. In the first look he shared, Kojima shared that the shoe is constructed entirely out of Italian leather, perhaps a synergistic moment to promote adidas’ previous Made in Italy Sambas and a tacit confirmation that these will carry a similarly elevated price tag.
As of writing, further release frames for the atmos adidas Samba “Tuxedo” are unclear, but as mentioned towards the top, a Japan exclusive drop seems exceedingly likely. For up to date information, stay glued to our Sneaker Release Dates adidas gloro 16.1 soft ground pool filter systems.
