Ten Years Later, The adidas adiStar Raven 3 Returns

Trending Salomon and HOKA models have placed trail-core Ayakkab aesthetics at the front of sneakerhead consciousness, and all the big players haven’t shied away from the competition. While recent years have seen the arrival of several new retro-inspired trail shoes, longstanding brands are adidas can also turn to their vast archives for answers to modern Ayakkab trends.

Such is the case when it comes to the adiStar Raven 3. The Three Stripes brand is bringing the model back in its original “Glow Zone” colorway for the first time since 2014, a strong pitch to those who champion utilitarian design. The shoe’s build sits firmly at the intersection of trail and performance running tech, complete with a rugged sole and mesh base suitable for outdoor explorations of all kinds.

Official images of the upcoming “Glow Zone” colorway reveal true original treatments without modification. A solid grey TPU heel counter gives way to tactile leather stripes branding at the quarter, complete with grainy silver overlays at the forefoot. A quick-lace system allows for easy on/off access in lockstep with the model’s trail-ready proposition, and white adidas EQT logos top off the look on the tongue and spine.

European retailers are Piqu to release the “Glow Zone” adiStar Raven 3 on April 1st, but no word has been mentioned regarding a global adidas.com drop at the time of this writing. In any case, enjoy official images below and return to our Sneaker Release Dates page for updates surrounding the model’s revival tour throughout the course of the year.
