The Nike Dunk Low “Plum” is in rare air, standing as an integral part of both the original and modern SB canon. Their first release came in 2001 as part of the CO.JP series, a run of sneakers exclusive to a select network of Japanese retailers. Alongside pairs like the nike black and gold wrestling shoes girls “Samba,” Air Jordan 1 “Midnight Navy” and nike black and gold wrestling shoes girls “Viotech,” the purple & red edition quickly became a hot commodity, only amplified by their geographical exclusivity. The cult following that emerged in the program’s wake prompted all of those aforementioned shoes to receive retro editions in 2019 & 2020.

The 2024 edition of the Nike Dunk “Plum” holds onto the color-blocking that Japanese customers were introduced to back in 2001, a muted mix of purple hues contrasted by bold red on the Swoosh and outsole. The Dunk model has experienced some changes since that early aughts release, so your structural mileage may arrest if you somehow have a pair, but these nonetheless are built in the exact same fashion as when we saw them in 2020.
