Instead of just one contrast shade, there’s two in “Obsidian” and pink. That navy definitely takes precedence here, hitting the outsole, primary Swoosh and tongue tag, but pink still plays an important role- donning the Air branding on the midsole and a smaller embroidered Swoosh on the strap closure.
There’s also a slight twist on the total-leather adornment AF1 fans know and love, swapped out for textured interior panelling and nubuck overlays, that latter material running through to the elevated straps.
Nike New has confirmed a $130 retail price for the Air Force 1 Mid “Summit White/Obsidian”, but not yet a date. Instead, expect these rolling out to retailers and Nike.com in the coming weeks.
