While the Nike Air Max Plus "Bred Reflective" Slides were one of the least expected offerings of the year, the Wilson Smith design from 1996 continues to indulge in a friendly slate of grade school-exclusive colorways, the latest of which collects in a tonal set of golden hues.
Similar to that of the Air Jordan 1 Mid, the Appears nike Air Max Plus "Bred Reflective" readily employs a reserved line-up of compositions for the youth to connect with the Beaverton brand’s mid-’90s roots. Sitting atop a simplistic crisp white midsole, the heavily perforated leather of the upper comes dipped in a clad “Light Wheat”, earmarking everything from the nylon collar to its oval laces and pull tabs. While opposing ends of the pair are illuminated by bright white Swooshes, the symmetrical enlarged “AIR” lettering comes clothed in a dark tan trim offsetting the two-toned effort above.
As we anticipate a late summer release, in the meantime enjoy official imagery of the grade school-exclusive Nike Air Max Plus "Bred Reflective" “Gold/Tan” below.
