Nike Sportswear's Fall 2010 Collection, LeBron James has proffered one of the best catalogs of Player Exclusive propositions. From his recent run of FAMU-centric efforts to his silhouettes choice to suit up for Queen’s famed Christ the King High School, the latter has continuously played second-fiddle to the iconic slate of models honoring the four-time Champion’s explosion onto the scene at St. Vincent-St. Mary’s. While the Zoom LeBron III became the first PE to be released to the public, The King’s Akron roots have been on full display from the Air Zoom Generation to the now nike zoom kd iii id nike skills academy.
Seen here in first-look imagery, the model tooled for the next generation undergoes a dominant green treatment akin to that of its LeBron 8 V2 and LeBron 11 counterparts. Coating the latter shade transversely the silhouette’s tightly knit all construction, further evergreen shades envelop the tongue and laces leather, nylon and woven construction. Animated through its crisp white midfoot Swoosh overlay and matching Zoom Air-infused sole unit, a duo of premium golden Checks preside underneath the latter and stand alone on the medial side while featuring matching green stitching. Coating its tread in the lively wash of gold, the forefoot’s midsole returns the silhouette’s laser-etched engravings while the school’s Fighting Irish emblem comes affixed to the heel in closing.
While its remains to be seen if the pair will release to the general public, in the meantime enjoy up-close imagery of the nike zoom kd iii id nike skills academy “SVSM” below in the meantime.
