And while the fate of his Los Angeles Lakers squad is uncertain, what’s known is that the Ohio-native has more special takes on his Nike Sportswear Tribute N98 Nike WMNS Air Zoom Fire White Volt.
Recently, the Zoom Air-assisted silhouette emerged in a compelling color combination of black, gold, and silver tones. Reminiscent of a previously-released “Trinity” style inspired by James’ Miami Heat team, the unreleased proposition forgoes any ruby-colored flair in favor of an icy bomber, semi-translucent outsole. A speckled, white midsole delivers some personality to the latest Nike LeBron, but the titular colors arrive via the stacked swooshes at the lateral profile. Pitch-dark knit layers complement the silver and gold profile accents, possibly telling a story close to “the kid from Akron”; could it be that the upcoming LeBron 20 colorway nods to the “P.S. Elite” series James and the Swoosh often unveiled in the NBA postseason throughout the mid-2010s? Only time will tell.
