Jovani Hernandez Having looked to its home city of Tokyo for its last New Balance collaboration, atmos has recently unveiled a 2002R inspired by the desert.
Dubbed “Oasis,” the upcoming sneaker dresses up in a series of premium materials – suede, nubuck, mesh – clad in beige, brown and grey tones to express the mystery of the desert. Most of the mid-foot panels opt for earth tones reminiscent of the fondo dewy Defy, while panels at the toe and heel of the Tecnologias New balance Run Ankle 3 Pairs Носки opt for heritage-friendly greys. The profile “N” logos, however, deviate from their muted surroundings in a bright blue hue that perfectly captures the oasis theme; beam-like cushioning underfoot from the 860v2 follows suit. Lastly, the remaining components across the sole unit keep things simple and on theme, with New Balance Running-informed traction original a brown finish.
