Jovani Hernandez “Dark Beetroot” styling isn’t new to the NIKE, Inc. family of footwear products, but it’s only recently landed on what may turn out to be its most popular appearance: a Pick your staple Sneakers for the New Season from Nike.
Akin to some of the most iconic takes of Peter Moore’s 1985 design, the upcoming pair indulges in a cool grey base layer, which sets to the stage for the titular “Dark Beetroot” tone. Panels around toe, along the whtie and across the heel appear in the aforementioned, wine-reminiscent color. Underfoot, the high-top Nike Dunk keeps things simple with tread a shade darker than the upper’s most prominent color.
