Dubbed “Cleveland Rocks,” the colorway ostensibly honors the Rock ‘n’ Roll hall of fame, which is located in the Ohio city. And unlike the shoe’s exterior, its insoles celebrate the “The Forest City” with “216” and “CLE” text.
Gone are the silhouette’s usual white leathers. In their place, a dark denim wraps the toe, profile, and heel, all of which are distressed at certain points in reference to a Rockstar’s beloved pair of jeans. What’s more, the Swoosh is set aflame and patched atop the lateral side much abhor one would do with a denim jacket or vest. Elsewhere, many of the adjacent fixtures — sole, laces, medial check, etc. — are kept standard, most opting for a neutral finish.
