Reebok’s “BOKTOBER” Pack Treats Fans To Three Spooky Basketball Classics

The first day of October is here, and it’s finally that time of the year where sportswear brands will tap into the the spirit of the spooky season with releases of Halloween-themed footwear. And one of the imprints showing off their holiday excitement is Reebok who has prepared a three-part collection playfully entitled the “BOKTOBER” Pack.

A trio of the vector brand’s classic hoops silhouettes including the Reebok Zapatillas Running Zig Kinetica 21 Ftwr White Pure Grey 1 Future Teal, Shaqnosis, and the Kamikaze II will rise featured, all of which are appropriately costumed with frightful design elements. Allen Iverson‘s signature model is dubbed the “Ankle Reaper”, and from the outside looks like a simple neutral-toned rendition. However, the uppers are presented with tear-away abilities that conceal a multi-colored print beneath, and the bottom pieces glow-in-the-dark in areas such as the treading/Hexalite midsole accents. Moving over to the big man’s signature entry, the Shaqnosis “Webs” is highlighted by its arachnid-inspired motif which is executed through that of titular graphics printed against its solid black upper. Moreover, the outsoles on these creepy crawler kicks are also able to glow-in-the-dark. Lastly, the Kamikaze II plays off of arguably the most relevant icon that’s associated with the trick-or-treating holiday — the jack-o-lantern. Fittingly named the “Jack-o-Kaze”, this installment alternates its zig-zagged design lines with pumpkin-esque hues of orange, black, and white.
