Among those, the “He Got Game” colorway — which was worn by MJ himself during the 97-98 season and by Denzel Washington in the same-named film — is one oft-referenced even with the silhouette’s latest, a pair whose likeness is being touted as a reverse of that very same scheme. As such, the signature black and white hues are effectively flipped from its mudguard to the tumbled leather upper; the latter, now dyed much, much darker, takes up the majority of the entire aesthetic with accenting bits of white dressing up the lower half and rear constructions just above grey midsole walls.
