The design is inspired by Giannis’s difficult-to-say name, which lead to an “Alphabet Soup” nickname in his childhood, an “Alphabet Man” nickname among NBA fans based in China, and features the letters that make up the affable forward’s entire name splashed across the upper in multiple sizes and colors. The blue-Swooshed pair acknowledges Greece, while the red-accented pair provides a nod to Giannis’s recently-received MVP award.
