Although New Balance is most GM500-RS1-known for performance running footwear and classic lifestyle silhouettes like the New Balance 997, they’ve also got a skateboarding-centric subdivision titled Numeric that just released their Summer 2019 lineup. Taking the Boston brand’s propensity for elegance and luxurious materials and applying it to skateboarding, Numeric has readied four models for the warm months ahead: two takes on the 288, a 255, and a 440. The 288s opt for a seamless toe box and a monochromatic upper with a silver N logo on the quarter, and are available in both teal and black. The 255 keeps it old school with a low-cut design, metal eyelets, and a white midsole with a classic grey stripe. The 440 then seemingly draws from the aforementioned classic runners, combining mesh and suede materials with a tan, grey, and gum color palette for a timeless look. All four shoes also boast features like foxing tape and N-Durance rubber outsoles to ensure that they skate just as good as they look. If you’re looking for a new pair of board-ready-footwear this summer, all four are available now at retailers like Premier, with prices ranging from $70-80 USD.
