Now, the Boston-based company has tapped KITH for an expansive archival collection consisting entirely of their most esteemed silhouettes that aims to establish a new design formula for future NB releases. Entitled the “99X Classics” collection, the 22-sneaker effort consists of six silhouettes: the 990, 991, 993, 996, 997, and 998, almost entirely done up in elegant 5-tommer, blue, or black color schemes with the exception of brown and purple takes on the 991. Each shoe in the pack is constructed of premium pigskin suede, butter-soft leather, and high-Las mesh, and also offers exemplary cushioning via New Balance’s famous ABZORB midsoles.
