The upcoming Air jordan You 9 “Baseball Glove” will be a “mystery” release as each pair comes packaged in a sealed black bag and the box labels don’t note the specific colorway. This was done as a throwback to the card collecting hobby and the excitement of opening up packs of baseball cards, but the cost of a pack of baseball cards is obviously considerably less than $250, the MSRP of these limited-edition Air Jordans.

Some have expressed excitement over this release as it does indeed break the closer mundanity of buying shoes these days, while others opined that for $250, the buyer should be able to control what product he/she buys.
