The Puma R698 is one of the more recognizable running retros in the German brand’s arsenal these days, and part of that has to do with the availability of the silhouette and its favored status for limited edition collaborations. But what happens when the brand revamps the 90s offering for a sleeker, more modern design? Today we find out as Puma has ‘reissued’ the R698 featuring a bolstered mesh, reflective underlay, and Ignite foam outsole. That doesn’t mean they’re ditching the 90s motif though, as a combination of vibrant accents ranging from a Volt-like green, turquoise, and Coral hit both white and black-based colorways.
