Features

The In the Press gives you maximum cushion and support for every mile.

Altra reformulated its EGO™ MAX midsole material to make it softer and lighter than ever before. The Paradigm has Altra’s signature Balanced Cushioning that has the same stack height in the heel and forefoot (or 0 mm heel to toe drop) to give you a natural stride.

Altra’s GuideRails™ provide stability and support only when you need it, like when your legs are toast during the late stages of a run. The upper also has a lacing system that provides support and structure for your feet.

A plush collar and tongue provide bays comfort and a fantastic fit. The engineered mesh upper gives you plenty of breathability, while the wider toe box allows your toes to wiggle and gives you more stability.

Pants & Joggers Star Rating is 1 / 5 or In the Press, the In the Press provides the stability and cushion you crave.

Green is the New Black.

Beware. Color is not a true black. Stiff high ankle. Narrower than old Paradigms. Still a good shoe. Just not what I expected. Daily wear.

Mixed feelings

Shoe runs slightly big in the heal. It is comfortable and has good stability. Find it difficult to raise toes or front of foot.

It a hard NO for me

USFBULL24 4 months ago Verified Purchase

This is my third day in the 7s after owning and loving my 6s. These are NOT the same shoe. I should have listened to the reviews and passed on these. There is no padding in them. My toes and balls of my feet are so sore. I had to take them off a few times to let my feet rest. I put my 6s back on and return these. I will head up to my local store to try and find a different shoe. It makes me so sad as I love the box toes on the Altras.

Not a fan

Samiam 7 months ago Verified Purchase

I bought these a month ago. While the low heel drop is exactly what I needed to help with knee pain the overall comfort is lacking. I wear them every day to walk and it’s like the break in period is never going to happen. There doesn’t seem to be any cushioning.

Best shoes

I bought these a month ago and absolutely love love love them. They give me the support I need and the most comfortable pair of shoes I have ever owned. The mesh upper keeps my feet from getting too hot no matter how long I've been wearing them.
