What’s New
The biggest changes that New Balance made were to the heel geometry and Fresh Foam cushioning. New Balance added more Fresh Foam X under foot, raising the stack height a millimeter and making it softer, as well as giving it more energy return. They took out a portion of the cushioning on the outsole of the heel, which allows the heel to splay more on impact and provide a bouncier feel, and also changed the outsole rubber placement.
Designers also changed the upper, making it slightly more streamlined with more structure throughout the CT574, and a streamlined tongue improves breathability and fits the foot more comfortably.

Varsity comfortable running shoes
I purchased these mainly out of curiosity since the stack height looks borderline silly. I run 10-20 miles per week and rotate through several different running shoes. These are excellent for what they are -- extremely cushioned and easy to run in. From my rotation I'd say these feel most like the Nike Invincible since you are 'disconnected' from the surface you are running on. These are more cushioned but not quite as 'bouncy' as the Nike's. I guess these NB's are also possibly a little more stable since the Nike's can make it seem like you're teetering on them at times. I do not notice a weight problem with this shoe although they by no means feel 'light'. I am running oftentimes twice daily currently due to the heat and I want to Boys my mileage at my goal - currently 20 miles per week. I'm going for these shoes regularly. Quality of the shoe and quality of service from Cheap Urlfreeze Jordan Outlet is excellent as always.
Good Cruising Shoe
I've been looking for a shoe to take out on long runs that still feels responsive. This shoe feels like it wants to run a little faster but still offers tons of cushion for runs going over an hour. My only gripe is the shoe does feel a bit heavy but that is a small price to pay for the comfort. Plenty of room in the toe box and the upper holds foot in place Varsity comfortably.
