You get a ton of grip with Brooksâ new TrailTackÂź Rubber which is inspired by the anatomy of mountain goat hooves with the forefoot outsole being split to give you enhanced traction. Plus, it is made with 25% recycled materials.
You have plenty of cushion to go the distance with the DNA Loft v2 midsoleâthere are two layers of this cushioning surrounding the Ballistic Rock Shield that gives you protection from roots and rocks without limiting flexibility.

Felt too narrow for me
These shoes really rubbed the sides of my feet and I don't have wide feet. Not sure if it is due to the stitching but they were so uncomfortable I had to return them.
