Portuguese Artist Crude Designs Special Graphics And Packaging For Y2K-Inspired adidas Capsule

Fashion is a very cyclical thing, with trends coming into style as fast as they went out. And while some might look at the early aughts as a lesson in what not to do, many have begun taking heavy inspiration from the era, bringing back everything from leg warmers to jean shorts. Even the sneakers that scream Y2K have begun making a return, inciting brands like adidas to tap into their vast archives.

The adidas Adimatic, for example, was recently dug up from the annals of Three Stripes history, joining the German sportswear brand’s contemporary line-up of sneakers. And after collaborating with the likes of Human Made, the sneaker has taken the helm of this upcoming, Y2K-influenced capsule. In addition to a low-top and mid-top — which are dressed in “Dark Green” and “Grey Five,” respectively — the pack features both a Campus 00s and a Supermodified, two classic silhouettes infused with the design ethos of the early 2000s.
