The first-ever shoe to feature an Air-Sole unit, the Tailwind originally released exclusively in Hawaii late 1978 before fully rolling out to market in 1979. Releasing in an OG combo of Vast Grey and Photo Blue, the Tailwind calls upon the former for its mesh upper and suede heel/toe pieces, while the latter provides bright pops of color on the large midfoot swoosh and top heel collar. A vintage cut foam tongue and thin laces provide more classic contrast, and the shoe is completed with a clean white midsole and black waffle outsole.
